Based in Paterson in the Hunter Valley, Will and Anthea Power are permaculture designers and educators creating a sustainable farm while helping others do the same.
While raising a family and growing their farm, they offer garden design and consultation services for clients wanting productive, resilient, and beautiful gardens. They also grow and sell seasonal produce locally.
As educators, they are lead teachers alongside Brett Cooper on the Limestone Permaculture Design and Homesteading PDC, run public workshops, and deliver sustainability programs in schools and early childhood settings. Their efforts have been recognised with a local education award and a shortlisting in the 2024 NSW Environmental Education Awards for Business of the Year.
Their work has been featured in Sowing Seeds, Grassroots, Hunter & Coastal Lifestyle magazine, The Australian Garden Podcast, and Practical Permaculture Podcast, and they are regularly invited to speak at local festivals and events on gardening, permaculture, and sustainable living.
Having trained with some of permaculture’s most respected practitioners, Anthea and Will bring real-world experience and insight to their teaching, workshops, and design work. In 2022, they founded Permaculture at the Pub, an initiative that now connects communities across 16 locations in NSW.
